After a retired DCI is murdered at an English Civil War reenactment, Mike instinctively thinks the victim's wife is involved. However, she enlists Pearl's help to uncover whether she might also be in danger. Meanwhile, Pearl and Mike try to organize a date, but a misunderstanding leads to tension between them.
