Dave Arnold and his team at the Isle of Wight Military History Museum face a daunting task ahead. They've salvaged a rare 1945 COMET Tank from an Army firing range, and it's in rough shape after taking heavy fire. With just four months to restore it for Tank Fest 2006, the crew dives into action, disassembling the tank, overhauling the engine, and meticulously stripping, sandblasting, and repainting it before reassembling. As they work, they uncover fascinating clues through serial numbers and markings that reveal the tank and crew's wartime journey, from crossing the Rhine to facing the formidable Panzerfaust and racing towards Berlin.
