As Jack wrestles with the heart-wrenching choice of disconnecting his brother Ted from life support in the hospital, Meg and Roxanne eagerly anticipate attending a Rolling Stones concert, only to be shocked by their seating arrangement. Meanwhile, Patty, feeling the sting of summer school teasing for being a nerd, seeks to reinvent herself. After a makeover from Meg and Roxanne, she tries to fit in on stage but ultimately embraces her true self. On a different note, JJ thrives at work, effectively applying his Vietnam experiences to excel in his job.
