In the semi-finals, host Jesse Palmer kicks off Discovery's Shark Week with a fun challenge for the bakers: they must create cookie bars shaped like beach-themed items such as surfboards, flip flops, or sunglasses. Next, the bakers face the daunting task of crafting shark cage desserts to safeguard their creations from the fearsome Great White. However, they can’t escape the tough critiques from judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman, and Damaris Phillips as they compete for a coveted spot in the finale.
