Vera, Erin, Joshua, Raul, and Peter are united by fate when they encounter the enigmatic Rose. She discloses that they are, in fact, angels tasked with preventing the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from triggering the Rapture. At the same time, The Man's true identity comes to light, and he persistently lures Vera with hints concerning her long-lost son.
