Jedrington, now destitute and struggling with a gin dependency, hits rock bottom. His devoted servant, Servegood, helps him regain his sobriety through a rather unconventional method involving a large cudgel. Once revitalized, Jedrington teams up with Conceptiva to confront the nefarious Mr. Harmswell Grimstone in court, seeking the return of their business and daughter. However, their hopes plummet when they discover that the judge is Grimstone's uncle. Just when despair sets in, the family stumbles upon an unexpected solution.
