S06E06 The Miracle

Only two members of the Syndicate are aware of the impending arrival of $8 million worth of heroin: narcotics dealer Alvin Taylor and his enforcer, Frank Kearney. When Jim tries to strike a deal with Kearney, he is met with refusal. Consequently, Willie “wounds” Kearney, prompting Barney to step in as a surgeon. During the operation, he performs a heart transplant and secretly uses drugs and hypnosis to alter Kearney's temperament. Unable to harm Jim, Kearney learns through the radio that organ recipients can inherit traits from their donors. With the help of his new girlfriend, who despises the church, he discovers that his heart came from a priest. Realizing he can no longer fulfill his role, Kearney leads Casey and the team to the beach for the heroin drop. Just as Taylor attempts to kill Kearney, the police swoop in.
