Nestled in the heart of Bass Strait and buffeted by the fierce winds of the Roaring Forties, King Island is one of the most remote spots in Australia, far removed from tropical climates. Despite this, artists Di and Andrew Blake have chosen to construct a home on the island after spending nearly two decades in the far reaches of East Arnhem Land, representing two locations that are literally at opposite ends of the country.
