Meanwhile, Dr. Greene compromises his values by supporting Weaver for the ER attending position, hoping to secure her backing for Susan as chief resident. Jeanie undergoes an HIV test and advises Peter to do the same. Carter extends an invitation to Benton for his medical school graduation, but he ends up missing the ceremony. Additionally, Shep's reluctance to seek help from a psychiatrist jeopardizes his relationship with Carol.
