The hospital staff buzz with excitement over the visit from a TV film crew, particularly Mr. Harper, who is eager for his moment in the spotlight. Meanwhile, tension rises as Dr. Ormerod and nurse Meryl Taylor rush to assist a boy who has been submerged in an icy lake for 20 minutes. The situation worsens when the ambulance transporting the unconscious child gets stuck in a snowdrift. Adding a comedic twist, Ray Piper arrives with a significant bump on his head, revealing that his wife accidentally hit him with a frozen turkey. However, Ray won’t be the only family member needing medical attention by the end of the day.
