Meanwhile, Marty Meierotto is busy laying down his winter trapline, navigating through the untamed wilderness. In Montana's Ruby Valley, Rich Lewis is on the hunt for a wolf pack that has been terrorizing local cattle. Over in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Eustace Conway faces challenges with Scout, an inexperienced intern who embodies a bit too much of city life.
