As Neko encounters Ruri just as she’s stepping out of her room, she catches a glimpse of what transpired for Ruri in the living world. Shortly after, a woman sporting brass knuckles appears at the hotel. Initially indifferent about investigating her room for answers, she eventually reveals to Neko that she’s a single mother. Meanwhile, Ruri begins to see parallels between her own mother and this intriguing new guest…
