In Arkansas, MacGyver and Jack Dalton find themselves in trouble when a crooked sheriff locks them up, exploiting inmates for labor in a gold mine. While MacGyver is focused on plotting their escape, Jack has his mind set on a different goal: uncovering the five million dollars his uncle Charlie stashed away in the mines years ago.
