Charles Raymond Starkweather, born on November 24, 1938, was a young American who went on a violent spree, taking the lives of eleven individuals across Nebraska and Wyoming during a two-month journey with his 14-year-old girlfriend, Caril Ann Fugate. The pair was apprehended on January 29, 1958. Starkweather faced execution just over a year later, while Fugate was sentenced to 17 years behind bars.
