Stuart Wisher, a thriving pediatric surgeon, is plagued by memories he can't escape. Though he seems to have it all—a loving marriage and three children—he’s haunted by a recurring nightmare. In it, a nine-year-old boy flees through thick woods, chased by a shadowy figure. The dream consistently culminates in the boy's tragic fall. Seeking clarity, Stuart turns to a psychiatrist for assistance, but the revelations he uncovers are beyond anything he could have anticipated.
