Mama is taken aback when she discovers that Bubba has signed her up for the Grandma USA contest. Initially, she hesitates to participate, but her interest piques when she learns the grand prize is a dream kitchen featuring a self-cleaning oven. Meanwhile, Vint questions why Mama was chosen over countless other contestants. Bubba reveals that he mistakenly submitted a photo of Naomi instead of Mama's. This mix-up becomes apparent when they meet the host, Eddie Edwards, who believes Naomi is the contestant. After weighing his options, Edwards decides to let Mama take part, intrigued by the idea of having a genuine Grandma in the competition.
