S01E13 Django and Dresses
Musician Norwood Young stops by to persuade Yossi to purchase an incredible knife featured in the blockbuster film Django, and despite the steep cost, Yossi can't resist. Later, Yossi visits a stunning home to see an iconic dress worn by Kim Novak in the classic film Vertigo. Designed by the legendary Edith Head, this dress has a staggering estimated value of over $100,000! The episode wraps up with an extraordinary highlight: a man presents a 450-year-old gilt bronze Buddha statue from the 16th century. Having appeared in both The Maltese Falcon and Blood Bath, this ancient piece is steeped in history, but Yossi struggles to agree on a price.
