The most striking figure in this strange new world is his boss, DCI Gene Hunt, a man who relies heavily on instinct and frequently resorts to force. As Sam investigates, he uncovers a link between a murder in 1973 and a kidnapping from 2006. Could cracking this case be the solution that allows him to return to his own time?
