Meanwhile, Keith has come to terms with his wife’s absence and starts dating Rebecca James, the school’s guidance counselor. Unbeknownst to him, Veronica digs deeper into her mother’s disappearance, leading her to uncover a hidden secret that Lianne Mars had been keeping.
