Julia organizes a surprise birthday celebration for Richard, reaching out to everyone in his contact list, believing they are his friends. This leads to an awkward gathering mainly filled with his former therapists, one of whom shows an interest in Annie, much to Richard's dismay. At the same time, Caroline grapples with the revelation that she has been enjoying free illegal cable for years, creating a moral dilemma as the rest of the building relies on her connection and urges her not to take any action that would jeopardize their access.
