A literary agent representing a horror writer proposes assistance to conquer his creative stagnation, and the desperate author agrees. Shortly after, Richard's wife is assaulted, leaving her a mere shadow of the vibrant woman he once adored. Determined to restore her spirit, he is willing to go to any lengths to help her heal.
