Following a dire incident at the hunting grounds, Hwan is thrust into an astonishing predicament. Jae-yi asserts her innocence and accuses Hwan of being responsible for her family's demise. Hwan is bewildered to discover that Jae-yi is aware of his hidden truth. Meanwhile, Jae-yi's servant takes on a male disguise in order to gain knowledge from the deranged scientist, Kim Myeong-jin.
