Two patients show up in the ER with gunshot wounds that initially appear unconnected, but the police soon discover a strange link between them. Meanwhile, a nurse struggles to cope when a critically injured patient is brought in. Additionally, one patient experiences alarming symptoms that inexplicably vanish each time the doctor lays a hand on him.
