The Palmers' holiday gets derailed when Doug accidentally scares Major, leading the dog to reject being watched by the Heffernans. Meanwhile, Arthur starts a new venture by offering his services, along with some friends from the senior center, to accompany lone drivers, allowing them to take advantage of car-pool lanes.
