S01E01 Primera Parte — Five Cops

In the mid-1970s, the newly established DEA brings on board two Mexican-American police officers: Kiki Camarena and Hector Berrellez. Kiki’s duties take him to Guadalajara, the stronghold of the Guadalajara Cartel, while Hector focuses on cartel activities in Los Angeles. The Cartel has begun bribing police officers, including three from Jalisco state. The situation escalates dramatically when Kiki is abducted, creating shockwaves on both sides of the border.
