Frustrated by the TV weather girl’s constant mispredictions, Granny decides to take action with her trusty weather beetle, Cecil. She approaches the head meteorologist at the U.S. Weather Bureau to voice her concerns, but he remains unresponsive. Jed steps in to talk to him as well, and when he mentions "Daisy," the meteorologist mistakenly assumes he's referring to Hurricane Daisy. This leads him to share his scheme for handling the situation.
