Meanwhile, John Cushing from a competing bank attempts to win Elly’s affection by suggesting Troy Apollo, but each time he arrives at the Clampett Mansion, he’s confused by Miss Jane, Granny, or Cousin Bessie the chimp, causing him to flee. Captivated by Elly's impressive strength when she effortlessly lifts a barbell, Mr. Universe decides to embrace Hillbilly cuisine to fuel his power.
