Responding to a burglary in progress, Chris shoots and kills one of the fleeing delinquents. The second criminal escapes, taking with him the weapon that belonged to the boy Chris shot. With all proof of the deceased being armed vanished, a videotape emerges that suggests Chris acted alone in the shooting. Meanwhile, the mother of the deceased boy is consumed by a desire for vengeance against Lorenzo.
