At the time of Federation, Australia’s leaders dreamed of a thriving, civilized nation filled with diligent citizens. However, contemporary Australia has its roots in a rough penal colony, with many still captivated by alcohol, drugs, and a penchant for chaos and violence. Despite this, the public begins to rally against the death penalty, ultimately leading to its abolition across the country.
