Meanwhile, Simon learns from Cecilla that a girl from his dating service is expecting a baby. He steps in to support her, persuading her to leave the child at a hospital for safe care. Lucy starts to doubt Kevin's fidelity after catching Ben reading her diary. Later, while picking up Ruthie from school, Ben witnesses a girl teasing her, which escalates and prompts the vice principal to involve the police.
