After discovering the reality of Karna's lineage, Parashurama places a curse on him, ensuring that he will lose all his knowledge at the moment he needs it the most. In Hastinapur, Shakuni has returned and stirs up animosity in Ashwatthama and Dhritarashtra towards the Pandavas. However, Gandhari becomes aware of Shakuni's manipulative tactics and catches him in the act of his political scheming.
