S06E03 The Dancing Princesses

A domineering king discovers from his daughters that being excessively protective can be just as foolish as being overly lenient. The crisis arises when he notices that his six daughters' dancing slippers are nearly completely worn out every morning, despite him locking them in their rooms each night. Puzzled about where they could be dancing, the mystery is unraveled when a clever soldier arrives at the palace. Using an invisible cloak, he follows the girls to a magical realm where they spend their nights dancing with their ideal partners. This episode is a standout in Faerie Tale Theatre!
