S02E13 Super Menace!
The military conducts experiments on kryptonite in an attempt to counteract its harmful influence on Superboy. However, their efforts backfire when they unintentionally modify the kryptonite, resulting in emotional repercussions for him. As a result, Superboy becomes emotionally detached and indifferent, leaving him vulnerable to threats and unable to connect with those around him.
