Bailey begins attending AA meetings, but during his first session, he encounters Walter Alcott, the man responsible for his parents' deaths. This unsettling encounter makes Bailey reconsider his choice, leading him to abandon the meetings. Meanwhile, Griffin receives a $100,000 settlement from his lawsuit and chooses to support his father, though it's clear that his newfound friendliness is primarily motivated by the money. In another development, Grace announces her candidacy for council and sets up her campaign headquarters at the Salinger home.
