Following the heartbreaking loss of her mother, Maya is compelled to leave her small town of Tamaha, Oklahoma, and relocate to New York City. There, she encounters Wilson Fisk, known as Kingpin, who trains her to become a deadly assassin. However, upon discovering that Fisk orchestrated her father's murder, Maya takes her revenge and kills him before escaping the city.
