Kelley grapples with the tough choice of staying in New Orleans with Peter to deepen their bond. Meanwhile, Julie finally releases her pent-up frustrations about her relationship with her father and his parenting style. After a heated argument, she finds herself in tears, upset that this confrontation marred her time in New Orleans. Peter feels hurt by Kelley’s occasional harshness toward him. Ultimately, Kelley chooses to remain in New Orleans with Peter. After reconciling with her father, Julie confides in her mother about her desire for a healthier relationship with him moving forward.
