The massive Arigami buds are in full bloom, causing mitamas to descend to the ground. These mitamas transform anyone they touch into plants. Momiji cries out in agony as the Kushinada pulse targets her. Kaede, hearing her cries, declares it "too late." She merges with Susano-oh's mitama to shield him from the relentless Murakumo. Murakumo takes some hits from Kusanagi before driving one of his heads into Susano-oh, boasting of his victory as he begins to siphon off Susano-oh's energy. Kaede responds by calling him a fool. Murakumo continues absorbing power until his mitama become enormous, but then they suddenly shatter. As he writhes in agony, Susano-oh delivers a final energy strike. Children across Japan hear the Kushinada's pulse and Momiji's melody, joining in the song. Momiji is close to finishing the matsuri, and the TAC members feel a sense of
