In 2037, a catastrophic event in the colony makes everyone on both Mars and Earth reevaluate the mission's purpose. Meanwhile, in the present day, the commercial space firm SpaceX is making yet another effort to develop the rocket technology necessary for humanity to journey to the red planet.
