Jim and Ferno find themselves in a precarious situation as they navigate a treacherous frozen river, testing their luck on the icy surface. Meanwhile, Ariel's attempts at flying take a turn for the worse, resulting in a catastrophic mishap. As the season's most powerful snowstorm sweeps through, it brings Western Alaska to a standstill, grounding numerous Era pilots and leaving them stranded.
