Barbara confuses Carol's boyfriend for an intruder and accidentally shoots him. He ends up staying with the Westons to recover, but things take a turn for the worse as he gets injured again. Meanwhile, Harry steps in to assist Laverne as she faces her anxiety about speaking in front of an audience, especially with her upcoming speech at an awards ceremony.
