Barnsley Hospital experiences its busiest shift ever, treating a record number of patients, including a man brought in with a possible brain injury. Health care assistant Sharon Bailey and volunteer Jane Allen do their best to lift their coworkers’ morale by providing tea and cake. Meanwhile, a nine-year-old girl in the pediatric triage area is reluctant to spend the night, and an unusual odor begins to waft from the lost property box.
