An author who has relocated finds himself struggling with writer's block and feels disheartened that his book has been adapted into a romantic comedy film. Additionally, he discovers that his ex-partner is engaged, and he’s grappling with the realization that their 12-year-old daughter is beginning to explore her own emerging sexuality.
