Wallander settles into a picturesque new house with his girlfriend, enjoying the bliss of their fresh start. However, their joy quickly turns to horror when a girl's skeleton is unearthed in the backyard. Determined to restore normalcy to his life, Wallander dives into the investigation to catch her murderer, only to realize that the case holds deeper connections than he initially believed.
