C&L team up with Sgt. Dory McKenna to investigate a murder linked to a slumlord eager to evict his tenants and convert the building into a co-op. Complicating matters, Dory is struggling with a cocaine addiction. After he does a line at Mary Beth's and fails to provide backup, Chris confronts him, warning that he’ll report him unless Dory seeks help for his substance abuse problem.
