S15E31 Greece's Megafires
This summer, Greece experienced widespread devastation from numerous wildfires, worsened by the most severe heatwave the country has faced in years. The island of Evia, Greece's second largest, suffered the most damage. The Greek government attributed the fires to climate change, which ravaged vast areas of forest. In August, Bethany Bell covered the wildfires, and now she returns to Evia to observe how the local community is coping with the aftermath of this disaster.
