Russia is providing the Myanmar military with sophisticated fighter jets and training their pilots for combat against their own citizens. Over two years after the coup, the military is battling a nationwide insurgency, struggling to maintain control and enlist new recruits. As a result, they are increasingly relying on air power, leading to catastrophic outcomes. BBC's Asia editor, Rebecca Henschke, reports on the resistance both on the ground and in the skies.
