After Mrs. Vitello gets hurt, Arnold is fine with teaming up with Gerald at her flower shop, even letting Gerald take the lead. However, Arnold struggles with the idea of being under Gerald's authority, leading to some tension between them. Ultimately, Arnold decides to resign from the job, putting their friendship in a difficult position.
