After an early mission, he had left Star Command, and while on a remote gas-farming planet, his unconventional "bike" broke down. There, he assisted a widow named Zoey and her son in confronting the local gas baron, Vartkes. Following this poignant tale, Buzz presents crucial evidence in the form of a disrupter rifle to the judge, leading to their victory in the trial.
