Her adventure begins in Bastrop, Texas, where she encounters Maura Ambrose, a passionate quilter devoted to the art of hand sewing and fabric dyeing. Next, Jill heads to Morganton, North Carolina, to meet Bobby Denton, a gunsmith known for his exquisite flintlock long rifle replicas. Finally, she visits Elgin, Illinois, to spend time in the studio of renowned artist Walter Arnold, one of the rare stone carvers in the U.S. who trained in Italy’s marble carving workshops.
