This is the astonishing tale of Robert Durst, the wealthy heir to a massive real estate empire, who has connections to the mysterious deaths of his wife, his close friend, and a neighbor. For years, Durst has been shrouded in suspicion. His first wife vanished in 1982, and the investigation hit a dead end due to a lack of evidence and her body. At the same time, Durst was evading capture in Galveston, Texas, disguised as a deaf-mute woman.
